According to a LIB reader, one of her neighbours makes a young girl who lives with them who she says is between 12-15 years, to wash their truck either at night or in the morning...every single day. She says passersby only watch and complain but nobody has done anything about it. They believe her life is at risk because she tries to manage her space as other vehicles pass. This is happening at Kings Avenue, Ben Mill Road, Ogodu Berger, in case the authorities want to look into it.

Not too sure if I would agree that this is child abuse, we don't know the livign arrangements of the child, are her needs taken care of? Also if this is child abuse, then during my parents age and even know children that have to work on the farm for hours to help their parents is also child abuse. My father had to do just that until her finished high school. Please note, though he worked on a farm, he STILL attended school and when he was done he was free to pursue higher education.
So before we label this situation child abuse more things need to be known.

When water did not run, I was expected to fetch the water. I got up early enough to wash the car before a would bathe and then eat breakfast before going to school.
